What is the time line therapy?
The Time Line Therapy® is a therapeutic process in which different techniques are used to change unconscious programming, which can change negative habits of behavior. The process was introduced in 1988 by Dr. Tad James with the publishing of his book "Time Line Therapy® and the basis of personality". James says this process is based on early psychiatric philosophy, quotes the works of American psychologist and philosopher William James and his work to define linear memory. It also draws conclusions from studies of hypnotherapy in the treatment of psychiatric conditions. The time line, as reflected in Therapy® time line, can be considered a model of how the human mind works. It represents how a person imposes memories of important events in his life from the past, in the present and the future.
The potential benefits of therapy include the ability to release the negative emotions that are attached to past life events and again capableST existed entirely at present. It is used to treat various disorders on anxiety, depression and other chronic disease. The process begins with the intention that the patient learns to refrain from reactive in the current situation or dilemma on the basis of past experience. The patient is trained to find the main cause of the dilemma and his emotional reaction to him, which will cause the subconscious mind to explore the problem in another way. Removing unfounded negative reactions to present situations may reduce anxiety, depression and other psychiatric symptoms.
The process of rediscovery of the time line is personal and private for the patient. The practitioner will often train the patient only about how this process works and seeks not to exceed the patient's personal experience. Typical Time Line® Session Therapy is short, sometimes just a few minutes. The patient is encouraged to continue working with the practitioner until he feels significantly relief from emotional distress. At the end of the sessions, it is expected that the pacENT has changed the filters they see the world.
Therapy® philosophy says that until the patient publishes most of the negative emotions stored, it will continue to experience negative psychiatric symptoms. It is believed that these stored emotions cause most of the emotional suffering and dissatisfaction. Therapy is used in conjunction with traditional psychiatric applications with success.
