What are fricadeller?
Cold or hot, fricadeller is fried ground meatballs. This hearty and salty food came from Denmark. What frikadeller does unique compared to other types of meat balls is that they are flattened before cooking, rather than the left wheel. This meat traditionally included veal, beef and pork. It is a combination of three meat, which is one of the things that gives these fried meatballs their unique taste and texture. Some chefs will use a kitchen robot to combine these ingredients to create a smooth paste, while others simply use the old technique of mixing hands together. Regardless of the technique of the combination of ingredients, the balls are formed from the mixture in the size of approximately one pile of spoon and then flattened. The due meatballs are then fried. Whether hot or cold, these fried meatballs are most often served with some type of potatoes. If cold, potato salad is often underhe is along theirs. If hot are served, they are often presented with boiled potatoes.
After the fricadeller was fried, if they were to serve hot, their drip is often made of sauce. The sauce is usually loaded above flat meatballs until they are plated. In many cases, the sauce is served next to fricadeller, as many prefer these abundant meatballs without sauce.
cooked red or white cabbage is often served with hot fricadeller. When served with this main dish, the red cabage is often cooked with beet and white cabbage is creamy. In addition to potatoes, the most common side is served with this main foot of meat.
Although the original fricadeller was made of beef, veal and pork, today there are many variations of the original recipe. For those who do not want red meat in their diet, there are people who replace the chicken for someoneterra or whole meat, or instead use fish. These variations of the original recipe are also administered hot and cold.
