What are lenses?
The number hamburgers are patties made of cooked lenses, which are eventually fried or baked to make the appearance and texture of the beef hamburger. Although there are vegetarian recipes for lentil hamburgers, there are so many recipes that are not specifically vegetarian and instead are designed for people who enjoy the low glycemic index of the lens, taste and nutrients they provide. There are two main ways to form patties, first rely only on the humidity of the ground lens to hold together. The second method uses eggs or other binder to hold a lens in the shape of a patty. Like beef hamburger, lentil hamburgers can be flavored with fried onions and spices such as cumin or filled with cheese. They can be soaked for several hours in water or supply, sometimes with onion or other flavors in the water. Similarly, the lens can be softened in boiling water with spices or ingredients, such as bacon, which can improve the taste of the lens when it is formed into lentil hamburgers. LzE also use canned or prepared lenses, although special attention should be paid to the type of liquid in which they are packed, and any other ingredients that manufacturers can add, including salt.
There are several common ingredients that are added to lens hamburgers to ensure that they create patties and maintain their shape and texture during cooking. Often bread crumbs are used because they absorb moisture, keep the interior of the patty warm and help combine the individual lens. The whole egg or egg yolks are sometimes added to the mixture to thicken the texture and create a strong adhesion between the lens, allowing them to withstand less fine handling. Other ingredients that are added may include onions, walnuts, peppers, olives or even other grains - such as Quinoa - which can add even more protein to the burger.
Once all ingredients are mixedWith lentils, everything is located in a kitchen robot or blender and pulsated until it is roughly combined. The texture of the final dough should not be smooth or too liquid and the whole lens should still be visible. Strong dough can then be created into patties that can be fried, grilled or baked. In some cases, hamburgers are cooled or partially frozen, so that the bark is formed on the outside and maintains its shape as they cook.
