What is Croline?

Croline is a type of bread made as a finger food. Shell Croline is usually made of inflated pastry, although other pastries such as dough or Empanadas can be used. The filling can be made of any number of things and are commonly produced by sweet and salty crolines. Small refreshments of the size of the bite, crolines are often served as Hors d'oeuvres or foods who have to transmit appetizers on a plate through a crowd of guests.

The lower and sides of the croline are usually made of a solid piece of pastry, while the upper part is covered with a grid dough. The grille allows the filling to appear over the top of the pastry and at the same time prevent it from spilling and serving. The pastries come in different shapes, although the most common are small circular shapes because they are the simplest. Crolines, which conuin fish or seafood are sometimes shaped as fish.

There are many different fillings that can be inserted into Crolina, although traditionally these pastries are made with spicy fillings. Mixtures that include ham, mushrooms, cheese and salmon are some of the commonly used fillings. Also popular are vegetarian crolines, which use mixtures of various vegetables, cheeses and fruits. Chefs can combine non -traditional ingredients such as curry or chutney to create new types of Crolines. The filling should always be cooked before it is placed in the dough.

In recent years sweet crolines have become popular. Fruits, jams, chocolates and other sweets can be placed in Croline pastry as well as salty fillings. Puff pastries are not sweet in itself, but the upper part can be added dust powder sugar to make more desserts. Once sweet or salty crolines are collected, thej, bake in the oven until the filling is warm and the pastry is cooked.
