What is a squat cage?

Squat cages, also called Power Cage or Squat Rack, is a piece of exercise equipment that allows athletes to safely perform various weightlifting exercises, especially squats. It consists of a metal frame that holds the weight in the position while the athlete gets to the correct position. After the athlete begins to exercise, the Squat cage frame ensures that if the athlete loses control of the weight, he will drop only by a small distance, and therefore there will be not as much danger as if the athlete has performed his elevator in the open space. They usually consist of metal beams, which form a rectangular box that is high enough to make the athlete easily standing inside without banging his head on the upper beams. The cage is significantly wider than the shoulders of most athletes, but significantly narrow the standard barbell. The depth of the squat cage is usually slightly smaller than its width, but still large enough to easily allow the entire range of movement during squats.

Most of the powerful cages also have a rod that leads from the front beam to the rear beam. This bar is located several feet from the floor. It ensures that if the athlete drops to the weight, it does not fall to the floor.

On the front columns of most squat cages, there are a number of holes that are designed to hold metal brackets for weights. These holes allow the user to change the height of the brackets. This is important because not all athletes are the same height and because different types of elevators will require weight to start at different heights.

The benefits of the squat cages include the permission of athletes to perform several elevators and ensure a certain level of safety when the athlete is a lcud is a large amount of weight. Most athletes can squat much more weight than their upper body can rise, so without a squat cage it would be very difficult to get the desired weight on the shoulders. Squat cage allows athletes to place the barbell on the holders to the desired higherKU and then load the weight on the barbell. In this way, it can load a large amount of weight and then enter the pole to get into a squat position without having to raise weight from the ground.
