What is the log cake?

Log cake yule, also commonly known as the Bze de Noël, is a Christmas dessert created to resemble the traditional Yule protocol. The Yule protocol was a large piece of wood that was burned in many European households at the time of the winter solstice, a tradition that probably originated before the spread of Christianity, but later became associated with Christmas. It is assumed that the log's cake could be created by those who lacked fireplaces, so they could not burn the Yule protocol. Although there are many variations on the log of the Yule cake, it usually consists of a roast mushroom cake, which is covered with cream, rolled up and then decorative ice. This tradition included cutting off a very large piece of wood from the tree and then burning it on the fireplace. Historians watched this tradition back to pre -Christian times and many Believ that the protocol was perceived as a winter solstice offering pagan gods. After the log burned, some households saved part of the ashes until the following year and believed them to provide a lot of fortuneand. When Christianity spread throughout Europe, Yule linked to Christmas.

It is assumed that the tradition of baking log cake yule could arise between those who lacked large fireplaces, and therefore could not burn Yule protocols. In the 20th century, modern heating methods have become more and more reduced by the need for fireplaces and the practice of burning Yule at Christmas has decreased. While the log cake yule remains a relatively widespread Christmas tradition since the beginning of the 21st century, many individuals who are familiar with the cake do not know about the tradition it symbolizes.

There is no only "correct" recipe for the log of Yule cake and possible variations on this dessert are limited by the only bakery imagination. In most cases, however, the preparation of the bowl begins with a chocolate or yellow mushroom cake, which was baked in a jelly pan. The cake is layers with a tasty filling such as creamy cream and then carefully rolled up to resemble a protocolU. Furthermore, the outer side of the rolled cake is icy, usually with chocolate or other dark colored topping, which can be accidentally "fighting" with a fork or icing to form an effect similar to a bark. Finally, the cake can be decorated with decorations such as "snow" powder and marshmallow "mushrooms".
