What is Kabab Kobideh?

Kabab Kobideh is a traditional Iranian skewer for meat, which is usually cooked over coal. It is slightly spicy turmeric, saffron and onion. Most of Iranian meals are accompanied by rice or flat bread and sweet tea. Accompanyings may vary from region to region in the country.

Iran is centrally located in Southwest Asia and has a long history dating back to the Persian Empire. Thanks to its central location, many people, cultures and of course the kitchen have passed and influenced what is now known as the traditional Iranian fare. Now it is an Islamic country that also affects its kitchen. Lamb is the most commonly used meat in many Iranian meals, including Kabab Kobideh, followed by a child or a child's goat. Chicken or beef can also be used, but pork is never used because it is not a hall.

Any meat is used, is distributed and mixed with grated onion and some garlic time depending on which recipe is used. The meat is slightly spiced with turmeric, saffron, solí and paper. Traditionally, Kabab Kobideh is then cooked over hot coal. In the absence of open fires, they can be grilled, even if they are carried out under the grill, the absence of a delicious smoke taste obtained from cooking through coal. They are cooked until well done and servked hot.
