What is Maple Taffy?

Maple taffy is a sweet treatment made of pure, concentrated and real maple syrup. It's not a real taffy at all, but it has a texture that is similar to the real Taff, hence the name. Sometimes it is also called sugar on the snow and sometimes called Maple TofLEe or Taffye. Real Taffy and Tofee are clear confectionery that resemble Javor Taffy only in the texture.

Traditional treatment in many parts of North America, where maple syrup is produced, has been made for centuries for centuries.
