What is Old Bay® spice?

Old Bay® Spices is a spice mixture made by McCormick and Company, a company based in Maryland, which creates a wide range of herbs, spices and mixtures. The mix proved to be quite popular, especially along the east coast of the United States, where it is paired with crab, lobster, shrimp and assortment of other seafood. Many markets have Old Bay® spices, along with its imitators, and it is also possible to create your own version at home and adjust the spices to satisfy your personal taste.
