What is the paat?
Papad is an Indian appetizer or snack. The name of this meal is derived from the word Papaddum. It is a type of flat bread or wafer. Papad can be heated or prepared in different ways. Papad can be made of various basic ingredients that are generally starches.
Although these plates or Indian flatbreads are particularly popular in North India. The term for the kitchen was shortened to the "paad" in this area. It is one of the most basic and important elements in South Asian gastronomy.
Papad is made of one or a combination of the following: rice, flour, lenses, potatoes, chickpeas or black gram. Black gram, otherwise known as Urad or black lens, is not a real lens. In fact, it's a bean. When it is ideal for a paot, texture or black gram is ideal.
In northern India, these biscuits are often made of lentils. The lens is legumes from India, such as black gram. Whatever carbohydrate is used, usually ground or cushionIt moves and mixes with other ingredients. Salt and peanut oil are usually added, no matter what else is in the body. In general, it is a bowl rich in proteins and fibers.
This Indian treatment is very aromatic. It can be flavored with many spices that emit a large scent. Black pepper is a popular choice, as well as chili and cumin that give it a smoke taste. Garlic is often used as well. The combination of these spices and the similar ones is often referred to collectively as Indian spices.
After making the dough using salt and peanut oil, snacks are usually fried or baked. It can also be dried naturally, toasted or even microwave. They are nasty when they are fried and are most often served in American Indian restaurants.
The paad is created in a circular shape, even if the tover is perfectly the wheel. It can be small or large. When served as a small OPLatches, it can be eaten like a chip. If it is made of larger and softer wafers, it can be used as a wrap to hold other fillings. In this case it is more like flat bread.

Papaddum is written and articulated around the world quite differently. There are at least ten spells and so many pronunciations of the basic word nickname. In many regions, "PAH-PUR" is pronounced instead of "PAH-PAD".
