What is Rambutan?

Rambutan is a fruit grown primarily in Southeast Asia and is a cousin for Longan and Lychee. It grows on trees that are 10-20 feet high (3.05-6.1 m). The trees are valued in the field because they are evergreen.

Rambutan produces two crops every year, a smaller crop in the middle stripe and a larger crop at the end of autumn. Not all rambutan trees produce crops because some trees are male.
