What is the shuch?

Shuch is a popular Japanese drink with an average 25% alcohol content. It has been made since at least the 16th century in Japan and is mainly produced on the small island of Kyushh. The drink can be made of various ingredients, including sweet potatoes, barley, reindeer, rice or brown sugar. Several other products such as SESAME or chestnut can also form a base of the shuch or be added. Thanks to its alcoholic content, this drink is stronger than beer or wine, but not as strong as most "strong" drinks such as whiskey, vodka or gin. Unlike many other hard beverages, it is much lower in calories, making it a popular drink. The boom of the shuch was not without its effects and drastically reduced the sweet potato crop, because the demand for drink was high.

Depthuch, which ends at the base, may vary in taste. Variants of brown sugar are not particularly sweet. Barley is considered a slight taste, buckwheat increasingly milder. Sweet potatoes taste strongly, sometimes comparable toalmonds. Most people either really enjoy, or they really do not like sweet varieties of potatoes because of its clear tone of taste. Rice Shuch is usually one of the most popular forms.

Shuch can be consumed in different ways. Can be drunk directly up or on the rock. Many young adults who drink it, especially young women, mix alcohol with fruit juice or sweetened green tea. Another popular drink is Chuhai, which combines a shuch with soda, flavor and ice.

Chuhai is somewhat comparable to American wine cooler. It is quite sweet and is often sold in stores and shops or vending machines. Another drink called Hoppy is Mix Shuch and Beer. Hoppy is also usually widely available in mixed stores.

Despite the many ingredients used to produce a shock, there are basically two types called Otusurui and Korui. Korui is differentFrom Otusurui, because he undergoes multiple distillations in front of the bottle. This is often considered the best in cocktails. Otusurui is performed through a single malt or single distillation process. This process often leaves a beverage with fragrance and taste similar to the basic ingredients. Usually, shots or ice are consumed and is considered to be a higher class than the Crown of the Shuch.
