What is Thukpa?

Thukpa is a special, clean noodle soup that is made of vegetables of the mixture and can include meat. In most countries around the Himalayan region, it is an extremely popular food such as Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan. In India, this food in Ladakh, Arunacal, Pradesh and Sikkim is quite common. It is traditionally called Gya Thuk and can contain noodles in different shapes. The Nepalese version of Thukp is the best known version due to its spicy taste. Although it can only be prepared from vegetables, the meat version of the soup is more popular and is for many popular meals with one tumor. This hot noodle soup is considered a hearty fare for those who live in colder areas of Northwest India, charged with fiber and nutrients. It has a low caloric value and can be quickly digested with a choice of healthy food.

The main ingredients that make up thukpu include garlic paste, crushed meat, Tibetan noodles and vegetables. The recipe also requires spices such as bay leaf, caraway powder, turmeric and black pepper. The vegetables are fried separately and spices and cooked noodles are added to the mixture along with water. Allow the soup to cook until the crushed meat is completely boiled and served with coriander or green onion. Although it usually has a slight taste, its heat can be changed to suit the floor by adding additional spices and masalas.

The soup itself is a complete meal and usually consumes dinner or as a refreshment. Traditionally, it is served with steamed mothers, pairing well with rice, sausages and meat rolls. Thukpa can be produced in different ways and some of the variations are Thentuk, Pathug and Prathug. Thenthuk JEPPULT variation of this soup, which uses flat, square noodles that resemble pieces of pasta instead of regular stringed noodles. Other variations may include soups made with egg and even tofu.
