What is the turnip?
The tubing cake or Law Bock Gow is a canton food that is traditionally served in the New Year and Dim Sum. Like many canton foods, the Law Bock Gow is popular in many regions of China and is easily accessible outside China, with the most dim sum of the restaurant offering tippers on their menu. This meal can also be found frozen on Asian markets for home preparation, or can be made from zero at home, using ingredients that are easily accessible on Asian markets and large grocery stores.
