What is Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™?

The

Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™, called Propoins ™ in the UK, New Zealand and Australia, is the review of the Old Weight Watchers® Points® program. As with the old program, the person who participates in the Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™ system gets a daily goal based on its weight, gender and other factors. Each meal or drinking a person is assigned to a certain value. Foods that are processed slowly and leave a person who feels happier are usually more nutritious and have a lower value than other, less nutritious foods that the body quickly processes. Using Pointsplus ™ values, the system is to focus on members from processed food and towards quite nutritious foods.

There are some differences between Old Weight Watchers® Points® and the new Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™. The old program, which was launched in 1997, assigned Body® to the food taking into account the fiber and fat. Within this program, the food was low in contentFat, but high fiber content, lower points® than high fat content and low fiber. However, it did not take into account other nutrients. The new program corresponds not only to fat and fiber, but also for carbohydrates and proteins.

carbohydrate -rich food, which is higher in fiber, such as an apple, takes more time to digest than sugar, processed foods with heavy carbohydrate such as a biscuit. As a result, a person who eats whole unprocessed meals will feel fuller compared to a person eating food. Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™ is calculated by rewarded for choosing healthier foods. For example, most fruits and vegetables have the value of Pointsplus ™ points, which means that one can eat as many of these foods as he or She would like. There is also an indulgence allowance because the company recognizes the need for "cheating" on the diet program.

pRogram Weight Watchers® Pointsplus ™ also encourages people to practice more. If a person increases his activities, he / she can earn points points ™ points that can be replaced for additional food allowances. This means that the program is responsible for the nutritional needs of an active person and also rewards exercise. As with the old program, one can also take part in Weight Watchers® meetings for support and advice. Members are also available online sources that are in the program.
