What is a natural number?
The natural number, which can also be called counting, is represented by numbers from 1, 2, 3 until infinity. Number 0 is included if natural numbers are defined as negative integers, but not if they are defined only as positive integers. There must be an endless number of natural numbers in mathematics, because each natural number is partially defined by having the number that follows it. These numbers are also integers, not fractions or decimal places, and can be used for counting or ordering. There is no number below zero and the natural number cannot follow zero, as is the case of -1.0. Basically, it defines natural numbers like anything zero or higher, which is all and not fraction. Zero is generally considered the only natural number that is not positive.
