What is the second?

VTEC or variable valve timing and electronic control lift is the type of motor device designed by Honda. The Japanese car manufacturer includes this type of engine into several of its models over the past few years. This type of engine offers increased performance through the innovative camshaft design. Other manufacturers also started offering their own versions of this technology.

In most vehicles, the camshaft is spinned with a cam or an excessive piece that raises the valves to its position. In one or double machine cams, the camshaft can be driven by a chain or device. When the camshaft turns, the cams, also called the cams, push the valves open at the right time of the "piston strike" to help facilitate the correct air/fuel for proper engine combustion. In other types of engines called Pushrod engines, the camshaft is also controlled by the belt, but is located inside the engine block. Long pushrodes are moved by the buckets of the cam and moveOpen and close the "rockers" and close the valves.

In the VTEC engine, the design uses multiple "camshaft profiles" to provide a larger scattering on how the valves are controlled. Setting the cam in the conventional motor uses the TDC (Top Dead Center) and BDC (lower dead center) to ensure the correct timing to open and close the valves to obtain the correct fuel/air mixture. In the VTEC engine, the valves are either open or open and closed later.

VTEC motors also use "automation" that is not in conventional engine models. The electronic signal can implement either a high RPM cam or other cam for low speed and fuel efficiency. This increases the versatility and power of the engine.

The design of the dual cam for this type of engine is controlled by ECU or motor computer. ECU uses factors such as oil pressure, engine temperature, vehicle speed, engine speed and throttle flapKuiont find out when it is time to move from one cam to another. The system also evaluates the engine load, which affects the "point point" for the VTEC system.

I-VTEC is part of the general revolution in automatic design, where more and more basic engine processes take over computer parts and sensors. The general consensus is that these dynamic changes provide better fuel efficiency and overall performance. However, these changes can make it difficult for a traditional mechanic to remove problems and maintain a newer vehicle.
