How can I improve reflexes?

There are a number of ways to improve reflexes. Some are specific exercises aimed at accelerating the response time, while others are everyday activities that can faster responses to stimuli. The best way to improve reflexes is to do different activities and mix them so that the body does not get too much on any plan.

Video games are one way to improve reflexes. Playing video games helps the brain quickly move between thought and action. While some video games that are specially designed for brain exercises are a great choice, almost any kind of video game involves the mind at different levels. This is necessary to improve reflexes.

Sport-specific drill is another great way to improve reflexes. Sport specific exercises may not be in sports at which you normally participate.

Play a sport that requires intensive concentration. This differs from exercising specific to sports. While sports exercises can only take ten in each sessionOr fifteen minutes, playing sports can allow you to give an hour or more to improve your reflexes. Racquetball, tennis and basketball require intensive concentration to handle. The challenge is that if your partners are playing significantly or worse than you are, the benefits will not be that great.

There are a number of lifestyles that can work to slow down the response time. If you do not notice some improvements after working to improve reflexes for several weeks, you should look at the lifestyle factors that can hold you back. They include food, sleep and stress.

Many people trying to improve response time are also athletes. Maybe they carefully watch their meals even reduce calories. This can be counterproductive. If your body does not have enough fuel, it must allocate how it is used. Without enough calories, your body will not be movingT as fast as it should, and your brain will be slow.

Lack of quality sleep is another factor that can slow the response time. Four or five hours of sleep is not enough for most people. Seven to eight hours gives your body much more time to recover and healing. This is especially important for people who strenuously train their bodies. The added sleep, for example with a short nap during the day, can be particularly beneficial.

Stress is the final obstacle to improving reflexes. Although it is not always possible to eliminate stress, an effective solution with it can be almost as good. Yoga, meditation and relaxing walks help reduce stress. A warm bath before going to bed can help reduce the throwing and rotation that comes with stress life. If stress becomes unbearable, consider visits or another professional for advice.
