What is central fatigue?
Central fatigue is a form of fatigue from the central nervous system, which does not necessarily have a response to physically demanding conditions, but other factors such as the levels of certain compounds in the body. In central fatigue, people feel intense fatigue and may want to lie down or sleep. There are a number of theories that explain how this type of fatigue evolves, and it is the topic of interest to scientists because it is involved in conditions such as chronic fatigue syndrome. Some scientists have suggested that this condition occurs when too many tryptophanes passes through the blood barrier in response to metabolic changes, causing the overproduction of serotonin. People also explored the role of glycogen stores, and some studies indicate that the central nervous system responds to the exhausted glycogen by launching central fatigue to protect the body from damage.
It seems that this condition is tied to circadian rhythms. During the NorwegianMaln sleep points in the sleep cycle and waking up organisms often develop central fatigue, although there is no physical reason to be tired. This could be considered a way of central nervous system, how to flash lights to warn people that the show is about to start. People with disturbed cycles of sleep and waking can develop extreme fatigue, sometimes in odd hours. This can be seen in people with insomnia who can experience central fatigue during the day but are still unable to sleep.
One theory of central fatigue suggests that it can occur when people are excessively done. If people practice too long and cause the core temperature rise, while the levels of a decrease in glycogen are threatened by organ damage. The central nervous system can trigger a tired state on the get athlete to stop and rest in order to make the person more aware of the symptoms of low blood glucose and overheating. Once people were resting, they had refreshments, rehydrated and cooled, they could have energy again.
People with conditions associated with central fatigue sometimes have difficulty explaining because it is not directly associated with the level of physical activity. One day they can engage in regular physical activities and be too tired to move others because of disorders in the chemical balance of the brain.
