What Are Bitmap Textures?

The texture in computer graphics includes the texture of the surface of the object in the usual sense, even if the surface of the object shows uneven grooves, and it also includes the colored pattern on the smooth surface of the object, which we usually call more patterns. As for the pattern, the colored pattern or pattern is drawn on the surface of the object, and the surface of the object after the texture is still smooth. For the groove pattern, it is actually necessary to draw a colored pattern or pattern on the surface, and at the same time, it is required to give a visual unevenness. The uneven pattern is generally irregular. In computer graphics, these two types of textures are generated in exactly the same way, which is why they are collectively referred to as textures in computer graphics. So texture mapping is to draw colorful patterns on the surface of an object.

Microsoft Word has the function of setting the texture fill for graphics. Take Word2010 software as an example to introduce the setting method:
Step 1. Open the Word2010 document window, and select the auto-selection graphics that need to be set for texture filling.
Step 2. In the Drawing Tools / Format ribbon that opens automatically, click the Shape Fill drop-down triangle button in the Shape Style group. Point to the "Texture" option in the opened shape fill panel, and the user can select the appropriate texture in the texture panel.
You can select the "Other Textures" option and switch to the "Fill" tab in the Word2010 "Format Shape" dialog box that opens. Select the "Picture or Texture Fill" radio button, click the "Texture" drop-down triangle button, and select the appropriate texture in the open texture list. After setting, click the "Close" button.
