What Is Plastic Injection Molding?

The injection molding process refers to the process of making molten raw materials into a certain shape of semi-finished products through operations such as pressure, injection, cooling, and detachment.

Injection molding process

The injection molding process mainly includes 6 stages including mold closing --- filling-holding pressure-cooling-opening-molding. These 6 stages directly determine the molding quality of the product, and these 6 stages are a complete continuous process. This chapter focuses on the four stages of filling, holding pressure, cooling, and demolding.
