What are compression socks?

Compression socks are specialized items on stockings designed to provide special support and increase blood circulation. Some compression sock manufacturers can also use Support Socks to describe their product. Compression socks must not be confused with traditional socks or uncompromising diabetic socks, although they may look similar. The main purpose of compression socks is to provide graded pressure on the lower leg and leg. Traditional dresses and athletic socks offer a certain degree of compression, but it is not enough to consider them therapeutic. During the average day, the body draws blood on all limbs as much as it can. However, gravity often causes blood to join in the lower legs and legs, causing circulatory problems such as swelling, flebitis and thrombosis. At least all this blood association can cause fatigue from the legs from the legs. Increase of legs and legs can temporarily relieve pain but often returns after a few hours constanthim to stand or walk.

Here, the use of compression socks can be very beneficial. Compression socks use stronger elastic, such as rubber or spandex to create significant pressure on legs, ankles and legs. By compressing superficial veins, arteries and muscles, circulating blood is forced by narrower channels. Arterial pressure increases, causing more blood to return to the heart and less blood to fears in their feet. The compression socks are the strictest on the ankles, gradually becoming less restrictive to the knees. Compression sock soles can be strongly padded for better shock absorption.

Although compression socks were originally sold for people with compromised circulation systems, many people now find each of their every use. Experts suggest that long -year passengers should wear compression socks to avoid circulatory problems like deepá venous thrombosis, foot spasms and swelling. Athletes often wear compression socks to give their foot muscles additional support or jumping. Those who have a profession requiring a long time can also benefit from using compression socks.
