What is the VIII factor?

Factor VIII is a factor of blood clotting also known as an anti -hemophilic factor (AHF). It is a natural protein that occurs in the body that helps to form a blood clot. This protein, along with other substances in the body, stops the bleeding process that occurs when a person is injured. Therefore, protein is important in the body. If this blood clotting factor is missing or is missing, it may be potentially dangerous for the affected individual. Hemophilia A, also referred to as factor VIII, is a disorder caused by a lack of factor VIII. This disorder is characterized by prolonged bleeding and is usually inherited, although not always. While the disorder gene tends to be inherited, sometimes a spontaneous mutation may occur and a person without a family history of haemophilia develops the condition. Men, more than women, tend to suffer from Hemophilia, because the gene responsible for the disorder is found on the X chromosome, whose men have one and women have two.

Factor VIII levels in the human body may vary, and depending on how many of the clotting factor is in its body, the individual may suffer from a mild, medium or severe haemophilia. In general, small cuts or other minor injuries usually do not require medical care from the doctor, but deeper cuts or more traumatic injuries may be dangerous. This is because without a sufficient amount of factor VIII, the blood coagulation process cannot be effective and injury could bleed for a large time. The affected person risk the loss of large amounts of blood. These serious situations require immediate medical attention.

Person suffering from a serious lack of factor VIIIKEPLAGE AHF. AHF drugs come either from donated plasma or as a recombinant factor caused by man. Receiving factor treatments helps to control, prevent or treat episodes of bleeding. During regular treatment with factor, treatment is injected into a vein and the procedure lasts asEven five to 10 minutes. In rare cases, the person does not have to respond to the treatment of factors because he or she is beginning to develop antibodies on medicines.
