What are halal chips?

Halal chips are potato -based foods that were prepared in accordance with Islamic law. This means that they were deeply fried in oils with a net, such as the solar flower oil. There are two types of chips that are usually halal. American tokens are thin, crispy slices of potatoes that are fried, flavored and sealed in packets to be eaten as a snack. British tokens are potato wedges that are deeply fried and combined with other foods such as fried fish or hamburgers.

Potatoes are inherently halal. This means that they do not break Islamic law. Islamic law states that blood, pork, alcohol and carrion cannot be consumed. It also states that meat products must be prepared in a specific way.

At first glance, it does not affect potato products such as chips. But that's not. The American and British versions must be fried in oil. This oil cannot be made of pig fat and must be used to use vegetables or other nEphase oil. In addition to completely halal, the chips must be fried in deep fryers that did not come into contact with oil oil.

potato halal chips, also called Crisps in many parts of the English -speaking world, cannot be tasted using pigs. This means that bacon, pork and smoked flavors of bacon are outside. Tastes such as salt, salt and vinegar, sour cream and others are fine if they do not use pork products or do not come into contact with machines that are touched with such products.

British -style chips are consumed with a wide range of supplementary foods, including beef steak, fried fish, lamb and mutton. They are usually flavored with herbs, salt and vinegar. Spices such as mayonnaise and ketchup can also be used. It will be halal chips unless they come into contact with the forbidden food.

halal chips bang both types can be more expensive. This is not because vegetable oil is necessarily more expensive than oil from pig fat. It will be more expensive, because companies such as potato chips manufacturers will have to use different machines for Halal and non-mains chips. They cannot use the same chip machine with bacon flavor and then use it for Halal chip with a different taste.

in restaurants serve British chips in British style, contaminations such as chip SCOOPS, baskets and cutlery will have to be excluded. This would include only pork scoops for pork products and even separate deep fryers if the restaurant would like to offer both Halal and non-Halal chips. Such considerations complicate business.
