What are lenses?
lentil peas is a type of small legume similar to other types of beans and peas. They come in different colors, while brown and green are the most dangerous, although in Indian cooking, red and yellow varieties are often used. The lentil peas can be sold dry or preliminary and canned. Although the taste varies depending on diversity and color, the lens has a generally earthy taste with a certain nut. As a meal, the lens in Indian cuisine is the basis and are used in many meals around the world, the simplest of which is lens goulash, which includes basic vegetables and sometimes bacon or ham for taste. When adding to a pot with water, the lens takes only 30 to 60 minutes. However, they are relatively small, so it can be easy to overdo the lens, in which case they quickly fall apart into porridge. The lens should be washed or soaked before cooking because they may have a strong earth taste and produce dark, almost black foam when they are cooked.
In Indian cuisine, the lens are used in many meals, sometimes in very small quantities to provide a certain texture or absorb excess liquid. The taste of the lens can be more trimmed by frying in some oil until they turn brown before the water is added. Other regions, such as Africa and the Middle East, also use the lens in their traditional cuisine, partly because the plant grows well in different climate.
One of the simplest lentils is a lens. This includes frying onions, carrots and celery in a pot with a leaf of the bay and then adding the lens. The water is placed in a pot to cover the lens, sometimes smoked ham or boiled bacon for taste. The whole soup is then cooked until the lens is soft and the tkapalina decreased to the required amount.
nutritionally, the lens has one of the highest amounts of protein available in food without meat. They also contain high amounts of iron, folate, vitamin B1 and manganese. Legumes are also gooda source of diet fibers. The lens also has a very low glucose index - basically zero - which means they are cleaved slowly and do not cause the blood sugar levels to accumulate when consuming.
