What is beef balls?

Beef balls are various meat balls made of finely crushed beef meat and flavored most often consumed in the southern part of China. They are particularly popular in areas surrounding Hong Kong. Normally, the size of the walnut has a similar look to the fish balls, but they are darker colors. They also have similar use to fish and balls for shrimp and can be used in soups or steams or roll into a wrap and cooked like a DIM sum. Because the meat grinding process can be time -consuming, beef balls are often consumed in restaurants or purchased frozen in grocery stores. Most of the meat balls are made of meat that is grounded, is not beaten, and are not grounded as fine textures found in the beef balls.
