What is pepper?

Datil Pepper is the fruit of the family capsicum , which also includes peppers, jalapenos, habneros and all other fruit known as peppers. Datil in unique because it is extremely hot, similar to Habanero, but also sweet and fruit. The name is derived from Spanish for "date", another type of fruit.
