What is Scaler?

Fish scaler is a kitchen tool that is designed to remove inedible exterior scales from the fish and leave behind soft skin. These scales are usually removed as part of the cleaning process, during which the fish will be gutted in preparation for cooking or freezing. There are many different types of fish scareers on the market, from large motorized commercial versions for cleaning more fish at the same time to simple hand models. The final goal is to quickly and painlessly remove the weights from the fish. The knife is gently but firmly scraped along the body of the fish and pulls with it. However, people can be injured, either on a knife blade that must be extremely sharp or on sharp fins that some fish have. Some fishermen therefore prefer to use a specialized tool for comfort.

The most basic fish scaler is the pocket version of what looks more like RASP. The comfortable handle is firmly clamped while the fisherman pulls the fish scales down the body of the fish. This design is usually very effectiveEasily and easy -to -use and qualified operator can quickly remove all standards from one fish. Since the removal of fish scale is a somewhat difficult task, this type of fish scale makes the cleaning process much more pleasant.

Some companies produce a small electrical scale of fish that rotate or vibrate almost like electric grinders. To use this type of fish scaler to remove the scale, the fisherman slightly pulls down the body of the fish, while the fish scaler is pouring the scale. Usually the device is waterproof and the battery is operated for comfort.

The commercial fish scaller is designed differently on the other hand. The fish are inserted into a large tumbling of the drum with coarse rides. As the drum turns, the sides of the drum pulls out the scales and after the specified period of time, the reduced fish is removed. This type of fish scaler is not always practical because some fish may be damaged by a drum through a drum. Commercial fishermen and people who catch a high volume of fish use plastered drums.

Generally, the fish are shrinking and cleaned before the market, so most consumers do not need a fish scaler. However, people who make their own fishing will benefit from buying a fish scaler, and although the instrument is not intended for multi -purpose use, it is certainly useful when needed.
