What is a gas convection?
Gas convection is an oven that uses a combination of gas lighter and air circulation to ensure baking. The fan is what distinguishes a gas convective oven from a conventional or standard oven. Air circulation helps to support even temperature in all parts of the oven. This ensures that the food cooks evenly and evenly, regardless of the stand on which it is located.
One of the advantages of cooking with convection is shortened the total baking time. When the air circulates around the oven, the food cooks faster than it would be if the air was still. Chefs can also refrain from rotating baked goods during cooking.
In the standard gas oven, the heating elements are usually placed on the oven floor. This means that the food placed on the lower rack usually cooks the fastest, followed by food on the top stand where hot air rises. Food in the middle often remains the longest. The convective oven can be based on gas or electric. Many of the most effective models are electric convections of the furnace, or at least there are furnaces with some electric components.
