What is running on the ground?

Running run is an individual and team sport for runners who run outside of natural terrain, which can include grass, hills and forests. Outdoor races date back to millennia, but the rules of the current running run was first developed at the end of the 19th century Britain. Women and men compete in races that usually take place during autumn and winter when a regular track and field season are closed. Runners can be exposed to snow, rain and hail. Most courses are between 2.5 and 7.5 miles (4 to 12 kilometers). The first official national championship took place in England in 1876, although the race was declared invalid because all participants left the designated course. In 1898, England raced France in the first international cross -country competition. The official international championship was opened in 1903 and renamed the world of Cross Country Championships in 1973, when the event came under the jurisdiction of the International Athletic Federation Association (IAAF).

IAAF did not develop the international standard for running courses running largely, because natural terrain differs significantly. In general, international courses are loop courses that include existing natural objects, but avoid high obstacles such as deep ditches and dangerous areas. The ideal running course does not exceed the road and the undulating smooth curves. Runners start together at the starting line and the race can be restarted if some fall and knock into the first 328 feet (100 meters).

The

team of cross -country cross -country countries usually consists of six runners, of which only a certain number, often four, scores. The individual runner is awarded points based on his position after crossing the target line. The points are added up and the team's lowest score wins.

Due to different running surfaces and terrain, teams will accept unique strategies for each race. In some cases it may make sense to sprintAt the beginning, a crowd of runners develops at the starting line. In other cases, runners will maintain an effective and stable pace. Some teams will work as a group, while other teams encourage their individual runners to run their own races.

Runners who participate in cross -country runs are often questioned mentally and physically because they undergo their bodies of course, their colleagues and elements. Often they must pass through mud or snow and withstand extreme temperatures without special equipment or clothing. In addition, in many races, runners will run in close proximity to their teammates and competitors.

Many running runners also participated in the road and long distances during spring and summer. Some competitions in mountain run, which is a variation of cross -country countries in which competitors take difficult courses uphill and ski slope. Others can test their perseverance by competing in ultarunning or races that are longer than the traditional marathon.
