What is Feta Lasagna?

The filling is another main part of the Lasagna bowl. The traditional lasagna is designed by alternating layers of lasagna noodles with tomato sauce and cheese, after which lasagna is baked. The sauce can have meat or vegetables. Many variations, including white sauces such as Alfredo, all types of vegetables and mushrooms and various masses such as beef, sausage, chicken or even seafood. Typical lasagna is made of ricotta cheese, often mixed with an egg to provide a cooked casserole of a stronger texture after baking.

Depending on the preference, or may not be mixed with an egg and other cheeses may or may not be used. Many variations of feta lasagna are more in line with Greek kitchen than Italian styles and often contains spinach, chicken, olives and fresh tomatoes, but omits the tomato sauce naezena in many lasaggns. Of course, it is not a hard and fast rule, and almost any combination of traditional or personal favorite Lasagnesian ingredients can be found in Feta Lasagne.
