What is kaju barf?

Barfi is a popular Indian dessert, which is usually cut into diamond shapes and is made of walnuts and sugar sugar. The word kaju means cashew, while the word barf means sweet type. Kaju barfis are usually white or yellow in color, even if they can be found in green if pistachios were used in the cooking process. It is very easy to prepare at home and can even be made by children under the supervision of adults. During festivals and special opportunities, it is a popular sweet donation to friends and family. The nuts are soaked overnight in the water and silence the next day. The sugar sugar solution is produced by boiling water and sugar in a pan over low heat. Once the syrup in consistency becomes thick and fiber, it is removed from heat. The cashew powder is thoroughly mixed into the syrup until the GOoey mixture.

The mixture is poured into a shallow, flat container and is left to cool for about one to two hours. To make it elegant touch, an edible silver leaf can be placed on top. Kaju Barfi is then cut into diamond -size shapes and served. Dry fruit, cardamom powder and saffron can also be added to the barf in the mixing phase to gently change its taste.
