What is Lady Gray Tea?

Lady Gray Tea, currently produced only a 300 -year -old tea company Twinings®, is slightly different from Earl Gray. He is often mistakenly identified as named after Lady Jane Gray, but in fact he was named for Mary Elizabeth Gray, the wife of the second Count Gray. Both family members had tea named at the beginning of the 19th century by Twinings Company. Both teas include Bergamot oil, but Lady Gray includes other citrus flavors and usually has a lighter taste. Bergamot is a citrus fruit that is cross between lemon and orange. Depending on the brand, the flavor of Bergamot in the Earl Gray Tea may be very strong or very light.

The primary difference between Lady Gray and Earl Gray is that the twins mix oil from Bergamot lightly with lemon and orange peel. Those who consider the taste of Bergamot nice, but in the Early gray tea can really enjoy the finer and lighter taste of Lady Gray. It is often considered to be afternoon tea because of its finer taste.

Another advantage of this tea is its quality. When Bergamot oil is heavily used, tea enthusiasts quickly point out, it can mask the taste of inferior tea leaves. With a lighter application, the tea must be used in good quality, or it could taste bitter, greasy or rancid. Fortunately, because Lady Gray Tea is a proprietary mixture of Twinings, the quality of the leaves is high.

Not all drinkers, especially in the US, are familiar with this particular type of tea, but are still more likely to be launched, especially in the form of a tea bag. Tea drinkers who prefer the use of tea leaves should be able to find free tea in online stores unless available in local stores. Traditionally, tea could be used as a light morning or afternoon tea. Some drink it with milk and sugar, while others prefer it straight or with a small amount of alignment. Lightweight tea flavors can be overwhelmed, ifD is added to a large amount of milk. A small amount of sugar or accompanying lemon wedge tends to nicely emphasize the flavors.

Lady Gray can also be used to prepare ice tea. Due to their pleasant flavors of citrus, many people are particularly refreshing during the warm months and has a natural sweet taste that does not tend to require much sugar. Because it is black tea, it contains caffeine, although Twinings creates an elderly form.
