What is Lai fun?

LAI Fun is Chinese noodles made of tapioca and rice flour that look good as short pieces of cut Italian style spaghetti. These noodles are also called spaghetti rice noodles that are similar to silver needle noodles, except that the noodles of the end of lai entertainment are cut rather than pressed to the tapering end. This meal is consumed mainly in Hong Kong or in the United States with dense Chinese populations. Lai entertainment is generally served with vegetables, often in broth soups and some salad dishes. The noodles can also be served in a mixing bowl.

In order to use the dough for this bowl, boiling water is added to a salt bowl and tapioca and rice flour. The mixture is mixed until the dough is offered for a strong consistency needed to make noodles. The prepared dough is then fed with a noodle press, sometimes called the noodle template to make the noodles the desired shape. The nudes template makes noodles to a specific size based on holes. Cooks have jinou template noodles for every size of noodles they want to do.

Some LAI fun recipes require the addition of grated coconut to flour before moistening and mixing. A similar dough is used to produce many sizes and shapes of noodles, each with a different name. Some, such as Lai Fun and the slimmer Puta Mayam noodles, are also pushed through the noodle template and others, like a lock to see fun, are shaped by hand. This noodles can be served with many types of meat, including beef and pork, as well as poultry such as chicken and duck.

Though it looks like spaghetti, types of flour used to make this noodle softer, squishier noodles. It is usually used in soups, most often chicken soup with vegetables, although it can be served with many types of broth. Tapioca is a flour made of processed kasava root. Together with rice flour, Tapioca flour is safe for people who are intolerant gluten. Gluten is ingredients found in grains related to wheat and lai entertainment dough contains no wheat, making it a viable gluten -free variant for people who cannot eat wheat.
