What is Marie Rose sauce?
Marie Rose Sauce is an English creature made mainly of mayonnaise, ketchup, worcester sauces and salt. Originally called Mary Rose Sauce, the name was modified from Mary Rose to Mary in an effort to make the name sound more French. This sauce is similar to thousands of island dressing and Russian dressing that all are made from the base of mayonnaise and ketchup.
The beginnings of this sauce are a bit unclear. One story says that the sauce was created by an English chef in 1981, who provided food for dive on a forfeited ship, Mary Rose , but Mary Rose Sauce or something very similar, was very popular with cocktails in 70 years. The cucumber is also a common component. Tomatoes, cheese and olives are also possibilities of shrimp salad. Shrimp should be peeling and nursed before use.
