What is mont di?
Mont di is a Burmese meal made of thin rice noodles. The noodles are mixed with different ingredients and sauces and create a bowl that is a distinctive and known part of Myanmar kitchen. Rakhine and Mandalay Mont di are only two known variants between a wide range of different Burmese noodles. Other ingredients found in Mont di may include flour of chickpeas, coriander or lime.
