Quillquina also goes through a number of other names. Sometimes it is called Killi or Papal and is most often referred to as Bolivian coriander. Coriander is a plant known for its dried fruit as a spice in the kitchen. The coriander leaves are commonly referred to in the United States as coriander and Quillquina has a taste that is somewhere between the taste of the coriander and the arugula, so it is called Bolivian Coriander. It is also widely grown and used in Mexico. Quillquina is most commonly considered to be a supplement to various salsa, and many recipes that use Cilantro in the United States would have traditionally used quillquin. The taste is a little more hOra and in most cases add a slightly greater depth than Cilantro.

Quillquina is more convenient than coriander for many people. It has less citrus taste than Cilantro and also has less soap taste that some people find in a coriander. For people who don't like Cilantro but want something with a little blow than parsley, Quillquina can provide an excellent alternative.

Quillquiny leaves are very fragrant and, in addition to being used as a spice, can also be used as a green salad. In this context, they can be considered the most similar to the arugula. Quillquina has the same bitter taste of light, which makes the arugula so popular with green salad, but is more juicy and has a separate taste as well.

Medicinely has been used by Quillquina in Central America for centuries. Quillquina is used primarily as a treatment of high blood pressure, although it also has the properties of the cleaning liver to the sameA level as with other bitter green. Quillquina can be either used straight or make tea with other herbs as a medicine.

Quillquina is not particularly common in the United States. In recent years, however, many shops have begun to be carried in response to the wider popularity of Latin American cuisine. Quillquina seeds are also available online and in large seed shops and the plant is relatively easy to grow, which requires similar cultivation conditions as coriander itself.
