What is Sayur Asem?
Sayur Asem, also known as Sayur Asam, is a food based on Tamarinda from the southeastern Asian nation of Indonesia. From the family tamarindus indica and belonging to the family of flowering plants Fabaceae, Tamarind is commonly grown in South Asia, although it is originally in tropical Africa.
