What is the difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercises?

The difference between aerobic and anaerobic exercises is in the type of metabolic process that the body uses during activity. aerobic means "oxygen", so two types of exercise differ in whether the body must use oxygen to produce energy. Aerobic exercises use more perseverance than anaerobic exercise and is performed for a long time, while anaerobic is more intense and practiced in shorter energy explosions.
