What is zuccotto?

Zuccotto is an Italian dessert made of a pound of cake, Mr. di Spagna or Ladyfingers. Mr. di Spagna is a home spongecak used in various types of desserts. Although there are various Zuccotto recipes, it generally contains sweetened whipped cream or pastries, chocolate and nuts.
