What is Cassini?

The

Cassini spacecraft was the first probe designed specifically to explore Saturn and the first to enter orbit around the giant planet. It bears the landing probe, the Huygens, which was designed to land and explore Saturn's largest monthly titanium. Cassini carries twelve scientific instruments, as well as an antenna with a high width for communication with Earth and a radioisotope thermal generator (X -ray), a power source.

Cassini was launched from Cape Canaveral 15 October 1997. Cassini was the second largest interplanetary probe ever launched, and the highly energy trajectory to Saturn required a series of gravitational strengthening to drive the spacecraft without consuming too much fuel. Orbiter made two flying planets Venus, one on the ground and one giant planet Jupiter before entering Saturn's orbit on 1 July 2004.The name Titan. On December 25, 2004, Cassini published a probe of Huygens, which later entered the atmosphere of the moon and landed on his POVrcha. Since then, Cassini has continued to investigate Saturn and extensive systems of the moon and rings and made many other Titan observations and other months such as Endlaladus. Cassini discovered four new months, too small to be observed from the ground.

Cassini carries twelve different scientific instruments, including a high -resolution visual camera that has returned thousands of pictures of Saturn and its surroundings on the ground. Its infrared camera is able to measure the temperature of objects and is used to see through Titan's global haze to map the surface. Radar tools on board were used to confirm the existence of liquid lakes on titanium and through the radio waves through Saturn's rings, scientists could determine the structure of the circular system. Cassini also has several detectors to measure magnetic field strength; To confirm that the moon had an atmosphere, it consisted mainly of water vapor in the bowlsEntceladus magnetic field.
