What is a marketing proposal?
If the company needs a marketing, advertising project or public relations completed by a third party, an application for a proposal (RFP) is written. RFP is then delivered to potential vendors. RFP contains detailed information about what needs to be done and why. Companies or individuals who want to win this work respond to RFP with a written marketing proposal. This proposal includes how the project will be completed, how long it will take and how much it will cost. People who write marketing proposals must ensure that the proposals are complete and flawless to be considered for the required work in RFP. Sometimes there is no RFP. The summary continues with the proposed tactics to solve the problem. These tactics can include e -mail, online, print, radio and television advertising, printed letters, brochures, websites and surveys and more. The summary must also indicate how this tactic will follow the overall marketing plan of the client and the business plan.
Themarketing proposal should also include details that would help show that the proposed tactics will be successful. A key feature is an overview of what RFP's main competitors do to promote a product or service similar to the one in RFP. Detanalysis of the target audience, people who will benefit from using a product or service is also an essential part of a marketing design.
