What are the warning symptoms of stress?

Warning symptoms of stress differ in different people and the body can respond to stress physically, mentally and/or emotionally. For example, some people can get skin problems, others can grind their teeth or experience crying seizures. Increased concern, thinking problems clearly, depression, restlessness and changes in eating habits are other common warning symptoms of stress.

Warning symptoms of stress that are biological may be difficult to notice, such as increased blood flow in the legs. This can happen in response to combat or flight response to stress. The hypothalamus of the gland in the brain responds to the stressor by highlighting the sympathetic nervous system. The resulting stress hormones such as adrenaline, cortisol and norepinephrine generate combat or flight response. Pupils can spread to prepare their eyes to see clearly. Chronic stress, or stress that we are experiencing regularly, can lead to a deceleration of the reproductive system, an inhibited reaction of the immune system and insomnia. We canto find more irritable, aggressive and/or disorganized when they are under constant stress. Physically we can suffer problems with intestinal shoes, headaches, back and/or nerve tics due to chronic stress.

6 Many of us have a feeling of butterflies in the stomach and a faster heart rhythm. Saded palms and dry mouths may be other warning symptoms of stress, whether the source of stress is positive or negative.

Although many different symptoms of stress are normal, it should be sought if the warning signals of stress is serious and affects the ability to cope with everyday life. For example, if mild fears suddenly escaped or if sleeping and eating habits have become unhealthy, experts can often help. The physician can help diagnose whether stress is caused by health or something else and can provide recommendations to other healthcare workers.
