What is Aston-Patterning?

Aston-Vzemek® is an integrated therapeutic method that combines ergonomic modifications, fitness training, massage and movement education. The key to this therapeutic modality is the belief that the body is an asymmetric structure that moves in three -dimensional spiral samples. Because each person's body is unique, there is no perfect way to move and for each individual are developed by Aston-Patterning® therapeutic plans. As a therapy, it is focused on the treatment of the whole person by taking into account the body of each individual, movement routines, psychological patterns and temperament.

The Aston-Patterning® process was developed in 1977 by Judith Aston. As a dancer with a bachelor's and master's degree at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA), Aston has launched her work as a teacher at Long Beach City College, dancers' training, athletes and actors.

in the middle of the age of 70. Aston began to disagree with the traditional idea that the human body is linear, one -dimensional, symmetricKa structure. In her experience with working with clients, she realized the individual differences in the human bodies and strengthened her body theory as a three -dimensional structure. Aston used its knowledge of everyday activities and environment and influenced techniques for rehabilitation of injuries and designs for ergonomic products. Its company, Aston Paradigm, offers formalized training for medical doctors and ergonomic products.

Typical treatment of aston-relevant® has four basic elements. First, the doctor asks specific questions about medical history and everyday movement routines to evaluate the needs of the client. Then the practitioner performs preliminary testing, where he and the client try different types of movement and seek ways to improve movement patterns. Furthermore, the practitioner will use combined arthokinetics, massage and myofacial release to stimulate new formulas. The last phase is after the testof it. Here the movements before testing are repeated, allowing the client to feel changes in their body and integrate them into everyday life.

Bodywork Aston-Patterning® involves greater client participation than most types of bodywork. When released tensions, the practitioners educates the client about healthier samples of movement to strengthen behavior. The client is also invited to explore the factors of the environment that affect their health, such as the organization of sleep and sitting.

6 Like other system components, the program is individualized for the shape of the body, restriction and goals of each person. The multidimensional training program consists of five types of exercises: horizontal relaxation, verrying, toning, stretching and cardiovascular conditioning.

Due to Aston-Vzestupný®, it can be demanding, it is best to check with your doctor before performing the course, especially if you have illnesses or disorders such as cardiac conditions, diabetes or osteoporosis.

Some people give a feeling smallerHI tension, increased feeling of well -being and better range of movement after treatment. Side effects may include exhaustion and pain in adapting to new movement patterns. If you want to get the best of treatment without too much pain, it is important to communicate with your practitioner about how you feel.
