What Is Gorlin Syndrome?
Fisher syndrome is a special type of Guillain-Barre syndrome. In 1956, Fisher summarized three special cases of variant acute idiopathic polyneuritis of Guillain-Barre syndrome and pointed out the following characteristics: bilateral extraocular muscle paralysis; severe bilateral symmetrical cerebellum Dysregulation; deep reflex disappears, sometimes accompanied by weakness of bilateral extensor muscles; cerebrospinal fluid with protein cell separation; good prognosis. Hereafter, the special type of Guillain-Barre syndrome with the above five characteristics is called Fisher syndrome. [1]
