What is a cast iron Dutch oven?

Cast iron oven is a type of cooking pot that has been used since the 17th century. These pots have become popular for their use in outdoor cooking, but there are also versions for use inside. The pots are generally heavy and deep, with a robust lid that has a handle built into it. In terms of design, a Dutch oven is built to maintain the same metal thickness for the bottom and walls, so the heat is connected evenly to food from all directions. There are also certain cooking methods that allow to bake food inside the cast iron oven when cooking outdoors and can also be used for almost any other type of cooking, from frying to cooking.

The beginnings of the Dutch furnaces are somewhat questionable. Some experts are not even sure whether the furnaces are actually the Dutch, but the cast method used to produce pots seems to have a Dutch origin. The campers still use these pots to produce such foods as biscuits. The outdoor versions of the furnaces are made with their feet so that they can stand above the carbons and the lids have combs for the location of coal above. The lid on the cast -iron Dutch furnace is generally heavier than the lids on other pots because it must become harder to use.

Cast iron oven and any other dishes that are made of cast iron must be flavored before cooking. This includes heating oil or lard in a pot until it binds with a metal that crushes the usable cooking surface. If the pots are not correctSpicy, food will tend to stick to. When cleaning the pan, it is considered to be important to do nothing. Over the years of using cast -iron pot, spices will actually improve gradually and can also give a certain taste of foods that are cooked in the pan.
