How can I produce soft pretzels?
Soft pretzels are a treatment that many people enjoy when shopping or participating in a carnival or circus. The chewing bark associated with salty and butter taste helps to make the pretzels to become popular fast food. But did you know that it is possible to produce excessive German pretzels at home? Here is a simple recipe using ingredients found in almost every kitchen.
To prepare for the production of these gourmet pretzels, assemble your ingredients. You will need unseen flour, coarse salt and a small amount of sugar. This basic recipe also includes butter, egg yolk and some water.
For a simple dose, combine a cup (240 ml) flour, a few tablespoons (30 ml) of granulated sugar, the only teaspoon (5 ml) of rough salt and a cake of dry yeast. Mix all dry ingredients thoroughly and put the bowl aside for a moment.
Heat one cup (240 ml) of water until the liquid is about 130 degrees Fahrenheit (54.4 Celcius).Stir the butter until it blends completely with water. Slowly add the liquid to dry ingredients while stirring. Use the blender to beat the ingredients together for several minutes, then add another half cup (120 ml) flour and beat another two minutes. If the mixture still seems thin, gradually add more flour until you create a soft dough.
The next step in the production of soft pretzels involves kneading the dough. After the flour has exploded, transfer the dough to the pipe on board and start to move. Continue to work the dough for about five minutes and then turn into a greased bowl. Turn the dough so that all sides are coated with grease. Cover the upper part of the bowl of the cheese meat and let the dough rise for half an hour to forty -five minutes.
After raising the dough, it is time to start creating soft sprinkles. Remove the dough from Lukul and place on a clean board. Divide the mixture into twelve of the same sections. OPAt the same time, roll each section into a rope that is roughly the same length as the distance from the middle finger to the elbow. On the greased sheet, arrange each rope in the shape of a sprinkle. Once all the pretzels are arranged on the sheet, cover and allow them to set them for about five minutes.
As the last touch of soft pretzels, wipe them with a mixture of egg yolk and a small amount of water. Sprinkle coarse salt on the surface of each of the pretzers and then bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 ° Covcius) for fifteen to twenty minutes. After removing the leaf of the pretzels from the oven, place each speck on the cooling stand and allow them to cool to room temperature.
While the soft sprouts take a little time, they are a great delicacy to prepare for a rainy weekend afternoon. If you want to add some variety to the basic recipe, you can make a simple immersion using any combination of sweet and salty ingredients you like.
