What are Calistenics?
Calistenics concerns the type of exercise performed without the use of machines, weights or other devices. Calistenics are performed to strengthen and build muscle tone and flexibility. Exercise should use the natural resistance of the body for toning and strengthening muscles and are usually performed in a series of repetitions. Sit-up, push-up, squats, bouncing jacks and leg elevators are examples of calistenika.
Calistenics are exercises that make up most of any gym class because it is not necessary but body. While Calistenics is freely associated with gymnastics and dance, no tumbling and low coordination are involved. Calistenics performed for some time creates muscle strength and perseverance, and is therefore often incorporated into the Athlete training routines and acts as an integral part of the training of the boot camps.
The development of calistenic routine depends largely on the participant's fitness target. Talid muscle toning is possible with calistenics such as targeting stomach muscles through ups and thighs and buttocks with leg muscles, squattingy and strokes. If the aim is strength and endurance, calistenic routines should be adjusted to maintain a reasonable balance of resistance and repetition. The more repetitions can be increased, the greater the resistance should be added, which can lead to other forms of strengthening muscles such as weightlifting. However, excessive resistance and too many repetitions can cause muscle pain or even damage.
The beauty of callatenic routines is simplicity. No membership in the gym or equipment is required. But before you start an exercise routine of any kind, it is important to consult a doctor, a physiotherapist, a personal trainer or another professional to make sure you developed the right plan and practice that will work for your current level Health and physical fitness.
In order to achieve the maximum benefit of calisenics, it is important to know how to perform every exercise. Many exercise courses in gymCH, fitness clubs, recreational centers and YMCA teaches calistenic exercises. Once you can perform every exercise, you can continue to practice at home or anywhere.
