What are the clover keys?

Clocks are newly emerged plants from clover seeds. Many people eat clover keys for their mild taste, nutritional advantages and anti -cancer properties. They add them to salads and sandwiches and clean them to green smoothies. Kprouts Alfalf and Clover are the two most common types of germ grown and consumption. These plants contain, among other things, vitamins A, E and K and a small amount of calcium, iron and other minerals. They also contain beta carotene, folate and chlorophyll as well as 4 grams of protein per 100 gram. Because the sprouts are a plant source of protein, they must be consumed in conjunction with other sources of plant protein to provide all the essential amino acids that the body needs. Like many plant -based foods, the clover is extremely low in calories and high fibers, making them the possibility of fillingdiers.

Another health benefit in clover meals is the high content of isoflavone and antioxidants. Isoflavones are particularly valuable for women menopausal because they help ZMII of unpleasant symptoms and have a preventive effect against heart disease and osteoporosis. Antioxidants on the germ can help prevent cancer. In particular, red clover contains genisteine, a compound that prevents angiogenesis in cancerous tumors, effectively hungry and prevents tumors from blood formation.

Unfortunately, commercially produced sprouts are endangered by contamination e coli or salmonella bacteria. About half of all food transmitted diseases were traced back to the germs. They are vulnerable because they are consumed raw and can be exposed to contaminated manure during production. This led the US food and drug administration to recommend that the keys be a cooked before consumption.

Some risks associated with clover performance can be avoided by germination at home. Many medical stores and online companies offer germinating sets to help consumers the growth of their VLAst. Germinating sets help to facilitate growing sprouts, as this process involves several days of rinsing and discharge the seeds until small sprouts appear. The clover sprouts will also require some indirect sunlight that will help them develop a healthy green color that shows the presence of chlorophyll and improves their nutritional profile. If they are allowed yellow, they will grow sweet, which may be an advantage if the sweet germ is desirable.
