What are different types of tea?

All non -nalbal teas come from the type of plants Camellia sinensis . Herbal teas are actually dried flowers and herbs and are not technically "tea". Tea and herbal teas can be cooked freely using a strainer or with comfortable tea bags and enjoying tasty hot or ice drinks. Indian tea is large leafy and grows well at lower altitudes, while Chinese tea is small leaves and grows well at higher altitudes. Hybrids mix a number of teas of China and India. Of these three varieties are four main types of tea: oolong, green, black and white.

White tea is the most precious and least processed type. Its taste can sometimes be very grassy. Processing usually involves oxidation or fermentation. Oxidation occurs when enzymes in the plant are bruised, broken or crushed so that the enzymes are exposed to air. White tea is not oxidized but, but it just went dry as it is. This air drying process is called withering .

whiteThe tea acquires its name from silver dried buds with their white growth similar to thread. It has the smallest amount of caffeine and the highest amount of antioxidants of four main types of tea. A silver needle is a type of white tea with a slightly sweet taste.

Black tea is the most popular tea around the world, but does not have as many antioxidants as other types and contains the most caffeine. It is fully oxidized. Its leaves are rolling to break the surface, so it is more open to the air. When the leaves are fully oxidized, turn red, hence the name. It is said that black Keemun tea has a taste similar to chocolate. Darjeeling and Ceylon are other black varieties.

Green tea is closer to white tea than black tea because it is not oxidized. It differs from white tea because it uses rolled leaves and not buds. Its grassy taste is very similar to the taste of white tea and has a low caffeine content and a high content of antioxidants compared to black tea. Yin xIan Te Jian and Hojicha are two different types of green tea.

oolong is often considered to be the most difficult tea that is processed because Oolong leaves are only partially oxidized. The leaves cannot be broken or crushed because it would be full oxidation, so it must only be bruised. Blueing is usually achieved by throwing the leaves into the baskets, so that only the edges of the leaves are open to the air. Oolongs may be more like black teas or more like green teas when fermenting. Pouchong and Formosa are two types of oolong tea.

black tea without caffeine are popular in western cultures. The United States has approved both carbon dioxide and ethylacetate in the process of removing caffeine from black tea. The American Medical Association (AMA) said up to seven cups of black tea a day is not a surplus of most adults.

herbal teas are not really tea. Yet they are often very tasty. They can be made of many different flowers and herbs. Varieties include mint, peach, strawberriesU and lemon grass.
